How long will my science party last?

It's up to you! You can start with the basic Bright Sparks Party package which lasts 1 hour and add up to two Party extras, each lasting an extra 20 minutes, up to 2 hours. Just allow enough time for each activity and a food break if you'd like one.

When will my party be?

Our scheduled party start times are 11am or 3pm Saturday and Sunday, to allow for multiple bookings each day. We do offer parties on weekdays but s £35 premium applies to parties held on weekdays between 2pm and 6pm. Please call us to check our availability on certain dates.

Where will my science birthday party be held?

Your birthday party will be held at your chosen location. Your party can be at home or in a local village hall or hired venue. It's best to get in touch early so we can let you know if we're available then confirm the venue afterwards.We recommend hiring a venue for a minimum of 3 hours to allow time to set up and clean away.

What do I need to organise for the party?

We'll bring the fun science, you provide the space and organise the guest list. All we need from you is a practically sized space for the number of children who will be attending, use of a table or two and access to electricity and a sink.

What is the ideal age for a Bright Sparks science party?

The science birthday parties are suitable for primary school aged girls and boys, from 5 to 11 years

How many children can come to my science party?

Between 10 and 20 children works best so they can all be involved in the hands-on activities. However, we can cater for more children on request, so ask for more details.

Do you provide party invitations?

We certainly do! If you would like Bright Sparks science themed birthday party invitations we can supply you with an electronic PDF copy to print for free!

Do you provide party bags?

We absolutely can! We offer fantastic science themed party bags, complete with 6 science based toys that allow further science investigation after the party has finished! Ask for more details.

Is the science party safe?

Yes, absolutely!! All these experiments have been performed for years without an incident and of course we are fully insured just in case!

Who is the scientist that will come to my party?

Bright Spark Scientists come from a range of backgrounds, from teachers and scientists, through to actors and drama students. These varied backgrounds provide us with valuable knowledge and feedback to constantly improve our science kits with new ideas and technology as it appears. Of course each scientist has been trained to deliver your party to the highest standard to ensure every child has a unique and memorable experience and most importantly they have all been DBS checked.
